Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool: Review & Photos

Hey Sweeties, how are you guys doing today? :)
The Cleansing & Polishing Tool is from Sigma Beauty's Think Pink Collection. It comes with three brush heads, carefully designed to exfoliate and polish your skin to be perfectly smooth and flawless before and after your makeup application!

♥ Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

I like how easy it is to use. You just add a small amount of your favorite facial cleanser directly on to the brush head and then apply it to your face. Click the little pink button in the center once and you get regular speed. If you click it again, you get high speed. The brush head rotates, massaging the product into your skin, exfoliating dead skin cells and exposing fresh healthy skin. Remember to keep your entire exfoliation process under one minute. Once your finished, apply your favorite moisturizer.

♥ The soft brush head is recommended for daily facial exfoliation for normal skin and occasional exfoliation for sensitive skin.

♥ The medium brush head is recommended for daily overall body exfoliation and occasional facial exfoliation for normal skin.

♥ The firm brush head is recommended for deeper body exfoliation of dry areas such as the elbows, knees and heels.

I like the packaging off this product a lot. It comes in this pink plastic case which is very handy for traveling and for storing everything when your not using it. The only thing that I don't like about the case is that its difficult to get the brush heads out of the slots. The tool feels quite light and it fits perfectly in my hand and it has enough weight to it that it doesn't feel cheaply made.

♥ Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

When it comes to the product itself, I don't recommend using it on your face if you have really sensitive skin like me. Its way to rough, to the point that it almost hurts a little. But I do like it for exfoliating dry areas on my body such as my heels. Another thing that I don't like about this product is that the brush head rotates so fast, making splashes everywhere. So don't stand too close to your mirror or you have to do some mayor cleaning afterwards.

The Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool is water resistant and it requires two AA batteries. The batteries are not included so you have to buy them as well.

Cleansing & Polishing Tool is  $39 on Sigma Beauty's website. I think its a reasonable price for this product but I wouldn't have paid any more for it. My skin is just too sensitive for this product so its not for me but keep in mind that just because I don't like it, doesn't mean that you wont. Everyone is different :)

If you don't want to go all out and spend your money on a Clarisonic Mia, this isn't a terrible choice. Sigma have released a kit called Spa Solutions which contains three unique attachments for your Cleansing & Polishing Tool. One off the attachments is an Extra-Soft Brush which is made for gentle cleansing of extra sensitive skin. It might work much better than the soft brush head that comes with the Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

The Body Shop Vanilla Body Lotion: Review, Photos & Swatch

Hey Cutie Pies, how are you all doing today? :)

Tonight I want to share my favorite body lotion with all off you. This is the Vanilla Body Lotion from The Body Shop. It is a lightweight body lotion that includes notes off vanilla, lemon, plum and jasmine blended together to create a sweet, warm and velvety vanilla fragrance. It also includes Babassu Oil and grape seed oil which moisturizes the skin and restores moisture and smoothness. Its a very light body lotion that quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving it feeling softer and smoother for hours.

This is one off the body lotions I have tried that doesn't leave my skin feeling super greasy. I can't stand the greasiness that some body lotions have. I get this urgent need to take a shower or wash my hands after I have used a greasy body lotion, do you get that feeling too?

I'm such a sucker for products that smells good! Sometimes that can be the whole reason for buying a product. Crazy huh, but I bet I'm not the only one out there? :)

The warm Vanilla scent is one off the reasons why I love this body lotion so much. The scent is a little strong but that only makes it last longer on the skin. When I get out off the shower, this is the body lotion that I reach for. I absolutely love how soft it makes my skin feel, its definitely one off the best body lotions that i have tried.

The packaging is very simple but still cute enough to have out on display on your bathroom shelf. The bottle is a little too hard to squeeze and it can be difficult to get product out off it. I think that a pump would be much more practical, maybe they will change that in the future. The consistency off the body lotion is just right, not to thick not to thin!

I paid $23 for this body lotion which is a little expensive but I have had this 200ml bottle for a while now and I still have quite a lot off product left in the bottle. How long a bottle is going to last you depends on how much and how often you use it.

I remember using this body lotion a few years ago but they stopped selling it in here. I recently saw it back in the store and I just had to pick one up for myself and my mom as well. Let's hope they still have it when I run off it. If you love sweet scents, I highly recommend that you check this one out :)

Where to buy?
I recommend that you check out your local The Body Shop store to see if they have it. Its available on their UK website, you can find it here. I also managed to find a seller on Ebay but he/she only has one left so if you want it, you have to hurry before someone else grabs it! Here is the link :)

Do you have any favorite products from The Body Shop? Any recommendations? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Tutorial: How To Use Konad Stamping Nail Art

Hey Sweeties :)
Tonight's Tutorial is going to be all about Konad Stamping Nail Art. Konad is a nail-imprinting kit that lets you put designs by stamping pre-designed images on your nails. This is one off my favorite ways to create cute and fun nail designs and the best thing is that its really easy to do! You can also use Konad to glam up your mobile phone, earrings, bracelets or even your sunglasses. It will work on any surfaces. I love how creative you can be with Konad, don't you agree? :)

If you want to learn how to use Konad Stamping Nail Art, just keep reading :)

♥ 1. Start off by applying your favorite base coat to protect your nails.

♥ 2. Pick any nail polish that you want to use as a base. I picked Bare To Wear by Milani as my base color.

♥ 3. Now its time for the fun part! Take your Konad Special Nail Polish and apply one thick coat on to your image plate. You can use your own nail polishes as well but just remember that not all off them are going to work. Just play around and see which nail polishes you can use and make sure that the nail polish is thick.

♥ 4. Take your scraper and scrape off all the extra nail polish that is on the image plate.

♥ 5. Take your stamper and roll it over the design. You will see that the design will transfer on to your stamper. Don't worry if your design doesn't transfer on to your stamper on the first try. Just wipe off the design on your stamper with some nail polish remover and try again :)

♥ 6. Take your stamper and roll it on to your nails and that's it! How easy was that? Now you are ready to rock your fun, new Konad design :)

I'm completely obsessed with Milani's nail polish in Bare To Wear which is the base color that I'm wearing in this look. Its such a gorgeous beige/taupe color which I highly recommend. I will do a review on it soon, so stay tuned for that :)

Products I used:
Milani Nail Polish in Bare To Wear.
Konad Black Special Nail Polish.
♥ Konad Image Plate Number m64.

IsaDora Pearls Of Passion Spring Makeup Collection: Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
I have a really fun post to share with you guys tonight. The lovely Ulrika, the online manager for IsaDora in Sweden contacted me and asked if I wanted to try out their products. I have been a fan off their products (especially their nail polishes) for a while now, so I was really happy and excited to see her email.

Ulrika sent me four products from IsaDora's new Spring Collection called Pearls Of Passion. The Pearls Of Passion Collection is filled with romantic colors that goes perfect with the pastels and gold toned trends that you will find on the catwalk this Spring and Summer. To see pictures and swatches off the products, just keep reading :)

♥ Nail Polishes in Marzipan, Icy Lilacs & Silver Sky.

♥ IsaDora Nail Polish in Marzipan.

Marzipan is a pretty light green nail polish with green shimmer. It was a little streaky on the first coat but it went on so smoothly on the second coat. It is opaque after just two coats. The green shimmer in Marzipan don't show up that much on the nail.

♥ IsaDora Nail Polish in Icy Lilacs.

Icy Lilacs is a beautiful light lavender nail polish with blue shimmer. I needed to apply three coat to make it fully opaque. I love the blue shimmer in this nail polish, I think it looks so pretty with the light lavender shade. This is my favorite nail polish from this collection :)

♥ IsaDora Nail Polish in Silver Sky.

Silver Sky is a gorgeous blue nail polish with silver shimmer. This was almost fully opaque after just one coat. I added an extra coat to make it look polished. Silver Sky reminds me off a lighter version off Zoya's Skylar which is one off my favorite Zoya nail polishes.

♥ Eye Shadow Quad in Rainbow Pearls.

♥ Eye Shadow Quad in Rainbow Pearls.

♥ Eye Shadow Quad in Rainbow Pearls.

♥ Eye Shadow Quad in Rainbow Pearls.

I really like all the colors in this eye shadow quad. The eye shadows are also very pigmented as well which I really like. They do have a lot off shimmer/glitter so if your not into that, this specific quad is not for you. I think all the colors are very suitable and perfect for Spring/Summer and I can't wait to wear this out. The only thing I'm a little worried about is how good/bad the fall out is going to be since all off the eye shadows are shimmery/glittery. But I will let you guys know how I feel about this quad in a later review. My favorite color in this quad is the peachy/gold on the top right, its super pretty :)

If you buy two products from IsaDora's Pearls Of Passion Collection, you will get this cute little pearl bracelet as a little thank you gift :) Click here to see pictures off the entire Pearls Of Passion Collection.

Tag: 10 Little Secrets

Hey Sweeties, how are you guys feeling today? :)
I'm back with another fun tag and this one was created by the beautiful Sammi from Beautycrush on Youtube. If you haven't checked out her videos, definitely do so. I love watching her videos and I just know that you are going to love her too :)

I hope you enjoy this tag and If you have any tags that you would like me to do, please leave them in the comments below :)

 1. What is one product that makes you feel like a million dollars?
I have two products that makes me feel like a million dollars, concealer and mascara. On those days that I'm feeling super lazy, I only put on some concealer and mascara and then I'm ready to head out the door. I love how concealer brightens up my under eye circles and makes me look more awake. Same for the mascara, it makes my eyes look awake, its definitely a lifesaver on those really early mornings.
2. What is your skincare secret? / A passed down skin care tip
Hmm, my skin care secret? Just drink lots off water everyday and always remove your makeup before you go to bed. It has really helped my skin a lot. When it comes to skin care products, I haven't really found something I really love and want to stick to. I have tried a few different brands but I haven't found the one brand that is perfect for my skin. If you have any skin care brands that you recommend, please leave them in the comments below, I could use a few recommendations :)

 3. Share your hair care secret?
I like to use a lot off hot tools on my hair so I always make sure to apply a heat protector before I curl or straighten it. You want to protect your hair from getting damaged. I also like to use a lot off hair masks to keep my hair looking healthy. My hair has never been damaged before and I want it to stay that way :)

4. What is your biggest diet rule?
I have never been on a diet before, I always eat what I want but then again it has everything to do with moderation. I'm lucky to be able to eat what I want without gaining a lot off weight but then again I hate when people tell me that I need to eat more and gain a few extra founds. Believe me, I have tried but its not that easy. But if you are happy with the way you look, who cares what other people think?

5. Any workout tips?
I haven't worked out in a very long time, just because I think that going to the gym is super boring. I just ordered the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred that was recommended to me by some lovely people on Twitter. I can't wait to try it out and be able to work out at home, its much more fun :)

 6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?
I love perfumes! I have a few perfumes that have been my signature scents for a while now and those are Beyonce's Heat and DKNY Golden Delicious. Both perfumes smells really good and I highly recommend that you check them out if you are on the hunt for a new perfume.

 7. Show us a clothing item of yours which always turns heads.
This was a pretty easy choice for me. I'm obsessed with my Alexander Wang Freja Booties, they are my favorite shoes in my shoe collection.

8. What is your most treasured piece of jewelry?
My most treasured piece of jewelry has to be a ring that my mom gave me. Her Grandmother gave it to her when she was little and now its mine. Its a ring that is really special to me. I don't wear it just because I don't want to lose it.

9. Who is your style crush?
Lauren Conrad, Sarah Jessica Parker, Miley Cyrus and Blake Lively are a few off my favorite style crushes. I think all off the girls have really good taste in fashion. I also get inspired by other fashion bloggers and Youtubers as well. Photo Credit

10. Tell us something we don't know about you.
I love to play video games! One off my favorite games is Call Of Duty Black Ops. I'm completely hooked and obsessed with that game and I play it all the time :)

A huge thank you to Sammi for creating this fun tag. I loved answering all the questions and I hope that you guys decide to do this tag as well, I would love to read your answers :)

What do you think about tags? Do you like doing them? Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your comment :) Xoxo Christine♥

Tutorial: How To Create Cute Cupcake Nails

Hey Cupcakes ^_^
I have a new nail art tutorial to share with you guys tonight. This one is a re-creation off a few cupcake designs I recently came across on Youtube. I love cupcakes and I really like this design so I thought this tutorial was perfect!

I hope you enjoy my post and if you decide to give this design a try, please feel free to leave the link to your blog post in the comments below. If you don't have a blog, please Tweet me a picture off your design, I would love to see it :)

If you want to learn how you can create these super fun and cute Cupcake nails, just keep reading :)

♥ 1. Start off by applying a base coat to protect your nails from staining. Now, paint all off your nails pink, except for your middle finger, create a french tip on it instead.

♥ 2. Use a dark pink striper and create vertical stripes on all your nails. Since I dont have a dark pink striper, I just cleaned off my white one and used it to create the vertical stripes.

♥ 3. Now we are ready to work on our little cupcake design. Take your dotting tool and create three white swoops that slightly overlap the pink and fill in the top off the cupcake.

♥ 4. Add a pink heart on top off the cupcake. Use a light pink and decorate your cupcake with some fun sprinkles.

♥ 5. Finish your design with a top coat to protect it from chipping away.

Here is the finished look, what do you guys think? I absolutely love how the design turned out on my nails. I used one off my nail wheels to practice on the cupcake design before trying it out on my nail and this actually turned out much better than the ones on my nail wheel :)

 Products I used:
NYX Ridge Filler Base Coat
OPI Nicki Minaj Pink Friday
♥ China Glaze Laced Up
♥ L.A Colors Art Deco Nail Polish Striper in White
♥ Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat

What do you think about the design? Will you be trying out this design? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥
