NARS Lipstick in Vendanges: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties, how are you guys doing? :)
Vendanges is a sheer plummy brown lipstick with a slightly glossy finish. It was just released as part of the NARS Summer Collection but you can also find it in their range of sheer lipsticks. Its long lasting color pigments have been suspended in this translucent formula to provide a sheer, natural tint to the lips.

Vendanges is the French word for “harvest” which is the perfect description of this sheer plummy brown lipstick. Keep reading if you want to know how I feel about this product from NARS :)

 ♥ NARS Lipstick in Vendanges.

 ♥ NARS Lipstick in Vendanges.

I love that Vendanges is sheer, because that makes it more wearable for people with different skin tones. You can apply it with a light hand for just a wash of color or you can build it up and make it look deeper, it all comes down to personal preference.

 ♥ NARS Lipstick in Vendanges.

I do like how soft Vendanges feels on my lips, but I feel that it gets a little dry after a while. But that little ''problem'' can be solved with adding a little bit of a lip balm before you apply the lipstick or a lip gloss after.

 ♥ NARS Lipstick in Vendanges.

I'm a huge fan of the NARS packaging. The lipstick comes in a nice and dark tube which is matte and has the NARS logo in white on the lipstick cap. I think the black, matte packaging makes their products look really classy, sleek and well put together.

♥ Swatch - NARS Lipstick in Vendanges.

♥ Swatch - NARS Lipstick in Vendanges.
I really like that NARS decided to add this lipstick to their summer collection, because its not your typical summer shade. To me, this is more of a fall/winter shade and a color that I usually don't wear during the summer, but I have to admit that it works.

My Opinion:
Vendanges is a beautiful and very wearable lipstick that you can use in the summer as well as in the fall and winter. Vendanges is a lipstick that I think is going to look great on a lot of different skin tones because of how sheer it is. You can apply it with a light hand for just a wash of color or you can build it up and make it look darker, it is all about your personal preference.

Overall, I think Vendanges is a beautiful lipstick. If you are into deeper lipsticks, I highly recommend that you check this one out. I will definitely be wearing this lipstick in the summer as well as fall and winter :)

Where to buy?
Vendanges is available on HQ Hair for £17.50. You can find it here

Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
The Wet n' Wild Blusher's are silky-smooth blushes that strikes the perfect balance between a blend able transparent sheen and a radiant pop of maximum color. A special blend of treated nylon powders provides long-lasting color. Keep reading if you want to know what I think about the Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink :)

♥ Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink.

♥ Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink.

Pearlescent Pink is a warm pink blush with golden shimmer. This is my very first blush from Wet n' Wild and so far I'm very impressed with it. It is so pigmented, easy to blend and it gives the most beautiful glow to the cheeks.

♥ Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink.

The blusher comes with a little brush as well. I personally don't like using these in my everyday makeup routine, but they are great to have if you are going traveling and you don't want to take a lot of makeup brushes with you. It will definitely save a lot of space in your suitcase :)

♥ Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink.

Pearlescent Pink has a very soft and velvety texture and it blends beautifully and effortlessly into the skin, giving your cheeks the most beautiful, pinky peach glow. I'm very impressed with the quality and pigmentation of this blush. It is extremely pigmented, so you don't have to use a lot of product, its best to just use a light hand with this blush.

♥ Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink.

You can easily build up the color and make it as intense as you want to. With every pigmented blush, I like to start with a little amount of product at first and just go back and apply more if I want to add more color on my cheeks. Its better to apply too little, than too much :)
My Opinion:
I highly recommend this blush if you are looking for a peachy pink blush that looks beautiful on any skin tone and that is affordable. I'm completely obsessed with this blush already and I really want to try out the other shades that are available in this range of blushes. If you have tried any of the Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blushers before, which shades do you recommend? :)

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Lilac: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties, how are you all doing? :)
Tonight's blog post is going to be all about my newest and one of my favorite lipsticks at the moment, Revlon's Colorburst lipstick in Lilac. The Revlon Colorburst lipsticks give you an instant burst of rich, true color with a featherlight feel. The Elasticolor technology provides immediate color release with a burst of weightless color that feels like a second skin. Keep reading if you want to see pictures and swatches of Revlon's Colorburst lipstick in Lilac.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Lilac.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Lilac.

Lilac is a pinkly purple lipstick with a slight shimmer. It is a little sheer so its not going to look as dark as it looks in the tube, unless you build up the color on your lips. Lilac adds a soft wash of color to the lips which I think looks absolutely gorgeous. It has a slight shimmer, which is going to give the lips that dewy and pretty look for Summer.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Lilac.

The packaging is another thing that I really like about these Colorburst lipsticks from Revlon. They have a really sleek and pretty tube with the color of the lipstick on top of the cap. I love it when lipsticks have this type of packaging, because it makes it easier to find the lipstick that you are looking for.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Lilac.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Lilac.

Lilac is a really soft and moisturizing lipstick which is not going to dry out your lips, like some lipsticks does. Every time I wear a Colorburst lipstick by Revlon, it feels like I'm just wearing a lip balm, I love that feeling :)

My Opinion:
Lilac is the newest lipstick in my collection and I'm completely in love and obsessed with it. Its such a pretty and wearable summer lipstick which is going to look great on a lot of different skin tones. Its also perfect to wear in the winter as well, because you can easily build up the color and make it look a little darker and more suitable for the season. Overall, I really love this lipstick and I highly recommend that you check it out. I do think that you are going to love this as much as I do :)

Where to buy?

NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand: Review, Photos & Swatch

Hey Sweeties :)
The HD Photogenic Concealer by NYX is a lightweight concealer that cover up imperfections, discoloration and under eye circles, but does so without ever looking cakey or obvious. The HD Photogenic Concealer is one of their best selling products, the concentrated, emollient-rich concealer formula goes on like a dream. It is non-comedogenic and creates medium to heavy coverage.

The HD Photogenic Concealer is available in 12 shades, including three color corrector shades. The lavender one is for sallow skin, green is to neutralize redness and yellow is for under-eye darkness. Keep reading if you want to see more pictures and swatches of the HD Photogenic Concealer by NYX Cosmetics.

♥ NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand.

The consistency of this concealer is very creamy and soft. It feels really light (not sticky) and the pigmentation is great. You definitely don't need a lot of products to cover up your blemishes and the coverage is amazing. I really like that you only need a little amount of product to cover up blemishes, because that is going to make your makeup more natural looking.

♥ NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand.

I love the small and thin packaging, it doesn't take up much space in my makeup bag which I really like. The concealer has a wand applicator which I absolutely love and adore. You might find it a bit unhygienic to apply it straight from the tube and on to your skin, but I personally dont mind doing it, because I'm the only one using it and I always apply my makeup after I have washed my face. I prefer concealers that have the doe foot applicators because I think they makes the application a lot easier and less messier.

♥ NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand.

I just apply a few dots of concealer under my eyes using the wand and then I blend it out with my fingers. You can use a brush if you prefer that, but I like using my fingers when I apply my concealer. I always start with a little amount of product and then if I feel that I need a little more coverage, I go back and apply more. I really like how it brightens up my under eye area and makes me look more awake. A good concealer is a total life saver on those super early mornings.

♥ NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand.

This concealer does an amazing job covering up my under eye circles. I actually prefer this concealer over the Benefit Erase Paste. I think that the coverage is a lot better, its easier to apply and its much cheaper too. Erase Paste has a lot thicker consistensy than the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer which can quickly give you that cakey look.

My opinion:
If you are looking for a good concealer that has great coverage and that is affordable as well, you should check out the HD Photogenic Concealer Wand by NYX Cosmetics. This is one of the best concealers that I have tried and its also my favorite concealer at the moment.

I think that I will pick up the color corrector shades next time I place an order on Cherry Culture. Let me know what you think about them if you have tried them out :)

Where to buy?
The HD Photogenic Concealer Wand from NYX Cosmetics is available on Cherry Culture for $4.50. You can find this product here.

Have you tried out this concealer before? Do you have a favorite concealer? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara: Review, Photos & Look

Hey Sweeties :)
This review is going to be all about my holy grail mascara, the Volumizing Mascara by Mally Beauty.

I have to thank the lovely Emily from Beauty Broadcast on Youtube for getting me hooked on this amazing mascara. Emily have talked about this product in many of her videos and she is the reason why I decided to try it out. Thanks to her, this is now my holy grail mascara :)

 ♥ Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara.

Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara has a unique formula that helps create the look of gorgeous, full, luxurious lashes. The combination of natural waxes and carefully chosen powders gives your lashes an instant boost. The brush works with the powders in the formula to help thicken your lashes without clumping, giving them gorgeous volume that lasts.

The Volumizing Mascara is an intense, rich black mascara with a little glossy shine. It is intended to create clean volume without clumps which it really does.

 ♥ Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara.

Mally's Volumizing Mascara comes in a sleek white tube with pink letters. How cute is the tube? I'm such a sucker for nice packaging, are you? :)

  ♥ Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara.

  ♥ Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara.

The brush is very easy to work with and it is just the perfect size. Its not too big/thick or too small/thin which I absolutely love. I'm not a fan of mascara's that have thick and big brushes, because I find those to be a little difficult to work with. I always get too much product on the brush and my lashes look super clumpy which I personally don't think is a cute look.

When I apply this mascara, I start at the base of my lashes, wiggle, and swipe the brush upwards. If you want more luminous lashes, you can apply one coat, let it dry and then apply a second coat. Keep repeating it until you get the look you want.

♥ Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara.

Mally's Volumizing Mascara gives my lashes that extra umph that I'm looking. I'm not blessed with long eye lashes, so volume is definitely something I'm looking for in a mascara and this really gets the job done. It doesn't flake or smudge and it stays put all day long. Depending on how much product you apply, it can make it look like you are wearing false eyelashes which is a huge plus in my book. I'm always having such a hard time applying falsies, haha :)

The only ''negative'' thing I have to say about this mascara, is that its only available in Black. I don't mind it since I only wear black mascara but for people that prefer brown over black, might get a little disappointed. Maybe they will release a brown shade in the future, lets keep our fingers crossed :)

I have tried so many mascara's and this is definitely one of the best ones out there. So if you are looking for a mascara that gives your lashes volume, has rich dark color and is easy to work with, you should give Mally’s Volumizing Mascara a try. I think you are going to love this product as much as I do :)

MAC Brush Cleanser: Review & Photos

Hey Sweeties :)
I have another great product to share with you guys tonight. I hope you like my post and If you want to know what I think about this MAC brush cleanser, just keep reading.

♥ MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser.

The MAC Brush Cleanser is convenient to use and its specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. It will clean, disinfect and condition your brush fibers so that your brushes will last longer.

This is one off my holy grail products! I have been using the MAC Brush Cleanser for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I think it does a really good job cleaning my makeup brushes and it leaves them smelling fresh and clean. The brushes dries completely in just a few minutes. Of you are in a hurry and you need to clean your brushes, this is definitely a great product that gets the job done quickly.

  ♥ MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser.

 ♥ MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser.

I only use this brush cleanser for spot cleaning my makeup brushes. Just spray it on a paper towel and run the brush back and forth until its clean. You can use it to deep clean your brushes too but I prefer using my Beauty Blender Cleanser for that. Its very important to take good care off your brushes so they will last longer. Clean brushes = happy brushes :)

To deep clean your brushes with the MAC brush Cleanser, just pour a little product into a cup and put your brush in it just for a little bit, then rinse with water.

 ♥ MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser.

 ♥ MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser.

I'm not a fan off the packaging. It doesn't come with a spray nozzle which I don't like at all. I feel that without the spray nozzle, you are wasting a lot off product. So I just removed the cap and replaced it with the spray nozzle that came with the Elf Cosmetics brush cleanser, great idea, huh? :)

Hopefully MAC will change their packaging in the future but until then, this is a great alternative :)

♥ MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser & Coastal Scents 250 Brush.

I have tried out a few other brush cleansers but I always end up going back to this one. If you are looking for a good brush cleanser that is quick-drying and will disinfect and clean your brushes, you should give this one a try. You definitely get a lot off product for your money :)

Korres Silicone Free Face Primer: Review, Photos & Swatch

Hey Sweeties, how is your weekend going so far? :)

The Korres Silicone Free Face Primer is one off Korres's best selling products and its a natural makeup primer with nourishing antioxidant vitamin E, skin-smoothing Jojoba oil, Melissa water, and Edelweiss extract. Its formulated without silicone, parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes/fragrances, mineral oils, petrochemicals, phthalates, and GMOs. This is a primer that is actually good and healthy for your skin :)

♥ Korres Silicone Free Face Primer.

I have been using this primer for about a year now and I absolutely love it. This was actually recommended to me by a few off my lovely blog readers. At first, I only picked up a little sample size but after falling in love with it, I went back on Ebay and bought the 30ml tube and I don't regret it for a second because this is a wonderful product.

♥ Korres Silicone Free Face Primer.

♥ Korres Silicone Free Face Primer.

The Korres Silicone Free Face Primer has a white and creamy texture which feels more like a moisturizer than a primer and it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy which I really like. It absorbs quickly into my skin and my face seems to be a lot smoother and even after I have used it. It has a light citrus scent which I love and find very refreshing.

The Korres Silicone Free Face Primer makes my makeup glide on so smoothly, stays put the whole day and makes my makeup look fresh throughout the day. It makes my makeup last longer and it prevents my foundation from setting into my fine lines. Because its mineral oil free, it won't clog your pores or cause breakouts! Hooray :)

♥ Korres Silicone Free Face Primer.

The packaging off the Korres Silicone Free Face Primer is very simple but effective because it allows you to use up everything and don't waste any product. The only ''negative'' thing I have to say about this product, is the price. Its $28 for a 30ml tube which may sound a little expensive for just one primer.

I personally don't mind the price because I like to spend my money on products that I know is good and that I know I will use up. When it comes to face primers, foundations and skin care products, I don't mind paying a little extra money for good quality products :)

I used to use the Smashbox Photofinish Face Primer and it broke me out every time I used it. My skin is very sensitive to silicone so I try to stay away from those. I have used the Mineral Infused Face Primer by Elf Cosmetics which is very similar to the Smashbox Photofinish Face Primer and I haven't experienced any bad reactions with that one. Weird, huh?

I think the Korres Silicone Free Face Primer is a really good primer and I highly recommend that you check it out if you have dry/normal skin. Its a very moisturizing primer which you can use alone or over your favorite moisturizer. A little goes a long way with this primer :)

Rating: 5/6
Where to buy?
The Korres Silicone Free Face Primer is available on korresusa.com for $28. For those off you who live in the US, you can find this at Sephora for $28 as well. I also found it on Ebay for only $13.99 + shipping, so definitely check that out if you want to save a little money. Here is the link to the Ebay seller :)

Have you tried out this face primer from Korres? Do you have a favorite face primer? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥
