Tag: 10 Little Secrets

Hey Sweeties, how are you guys feeling today? :)
I'm back with another fun tag and this one was created by the beautiful Sammi from Beautycrush on Youtube. If you haven't checked out her videos, definitely do so. I love watching her videos and I just know that you are going to love her too :)

I hope you enjoy this tag and If you have any tags that you would like me to do, please leave them in the comments below :)

 1. What is one product that makes you feel like a million dollars?
I have two products that makes me feel like a million dollars, concealer and mascara. On those days that I'm feeling super lazy, I only put on some concealer and mascara and then I'm ready to head out the door. I love how concealer brightens up my under eye circles and makes me look more awake. Same for the mascara, it makes my eyes look awake, its definitely a lifesaver on those really early mornings.
2. What is your skincare secret? / A passed down skin care tip
Hmm, my skin care secret? Just drink lots off water everyday and always remove your makeup before you go to bed. It has really helped my skin a lot. When it comes to skin care products, I haven't really found something I really love and want to stick to. I have tried a few different brands but I haven't found the one brand that is perfect for my skin. If you have any skin care brands that you recommend, please leave them in the comments below, I could use a few recommendations :)

 3. Share your hair care secret?
I like to use a lot off hot tools on my hair so I always make sure to apply a heat protector before I curl or straighten it. You want to protect your hair from getting damaged. I also like to use a lot off hair masks to keep my hair looking healthy. My hair has never been damaged before and I want it to stay that way :)

4. What is your biggest diet rule?
I have never been on a diet before, I always eat what I want but then again it has everything to do with moderation. I'm lucky to be able to eat what I want without gaining a lot off weight but then again I hate when people tell me that I need to eat more and gain a few extra founds. Believe me, I have tried but its not that easy. But if you are happy with the way you look, who cares what other people think?

5. Any workout tips?
I haven't worked out in a very long time, just because I think that going to the gym is super boring. I just ordered the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred that was recommended to me by some lovely people on Twitter. I can't wait to try it out and be able to work out at home, its much more fun :)

 6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?
I love perfumes! I have a few perfumes that have been my signature scents for a while now and those are Beyonce's Heat and DKNY Golden Delicious. Both perfumes smells really good and I highly recommend that you check them out if you are on the hunt for a new perfume.

 7. Show us a clothing item of yours which always turns heads.
This was a pretty easy choice for me. I'm obsessed with my Alexander Wang Freja Booties, they are my favorite shoes in my shoe collection.

8. What is your most treasured piece of jewelry?
My most treasured piece of jewelry has to be a ring that my mom gave me. Her Grandmother gave it to her when she was little and now its mine. Its a ring that is really special to me. I don't wear it just because I don't want to lose it.

9. Who is your style crush?
Lauren Conrad, Sarah Jessica Parker, Miley Cyrus and Blake Lively are a few off my favorite style crushes. I think all off the girls have really good taste in fashion. I also get inspired by other fashion bloggers and Youtubers as well. Photo Credit

10. Tell us something we don't know about you.
I love to play video games! One off my favorite games is Call Of Duty Black Ops. I'm completely hooked and obsessed with that game and I play it all the time :)

A huge thank you to Sammi for creating this fun tag. I loved answering all the questions and I hope that you guys decide to do this tag as well, I would love to read your answers :)

What do you think about tags? Do you like doing them? Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your comment :) Xoxo Christine♥

Tutorial: How To Create Cute Cupcake Nails

Hey Cupcakes ^_^
I have a new nail art tutorial to share with you guys tonight. This one is a re-creation off a few cupcake designs I recently came across on Youtube. I love cupcakes and I really like this design so I thought this tutorial was perfect!

I hope you enjoy my post and if you decide to give this design a try, please feel free to leave the link to your blog post in the comments below. If you don't have a blog, please Tweet me a picture off your design, I would love to see it :)

If you want to learn how you can create these super fun and cute Cupcake nails, just keep reading :)

♥ 1. Start off by applying a base coat to protect your nails from staining. Now, paint all off your nails pink, except for your middle finger, create a french tip on it instead.

♥ 2. Use a dark pink striper and create vertical stripes on all your nails. Since I dont have a dark pink striper, I just cleaned off my white one and used it to create the vertical stripes.

♥ 3. Now we are ready to work on our little cupcake design. Take your dotting tool and create three white swoops that slightly overlap the pink and fill in the top off the cupcake.

♥ 4. Add a pink heart on top off the cupcake. Use a light pink and decorate your cupcake with some fun sprinkles.

♥ 5. Finish your design with a top coat to protect it from chipping away.

Here is the finished look, what do you guys think? I absolutely love how the design turned out on my nails. I used one off my nail wheels to practice on the cupcake design before trying it out on my nail and this actually turned out much better than the ones on my nail wheel :)

 Products I used:
NYX Ridge Filler Base Coat
OPI Nicki Minaj Pink Friday
♥ China Glaze Laced Up
♥ L.A Colors Art Deco Nail Polish Striper in White
♥ Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat

What do you think about the design? Will you be trying out this design? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Rimmel Light Beam After Dark Lip Gloss-In The Limelight: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey sweeties, I hope you all are doing great :)
Tonight I have a Rimmel Light Beam After Dark Lip Gloss review to share with you. The Rimmel Light Beam After Dark Lip Gloss is a cool little ''gadget'' It features a mirror and an internal LED light that illuminates your lips and the tip of the lip gloss for precise application in any light.

This lip gloss is in the color 'In The Limelight' and is a reddish-coral color with shimmer. Its a really sheer lip gloss which doesn't have a lot off staying power so you have to keep reapplying it. Its not a heavy or sticky gloss which is a big plus in my book. I hate it when my lip gloss gets stuck in my hair and I get lip gloss all over my face, that is really annoying. Who's with me?

I absolutely love the packaging off the Rimmel Light Beam After Dark Lip Gloss. I think the click light on the wand applicator and the little mirror on the side is really unique and very handy to have in your purse. You can use the light to look inside your purse and find your keys or what if you got stuck in an elevator with a cute guy? Hello, this would be a total lifesaver, hahahaha :)

In The Limelight has a light fruity smell to it. I know some people can't stand the smell off this lip gloss but I personally like it. I have tried other lip glosses that smell/taste far worse than this one.
I really like the packaging off this lip gloss and that it make my lips feel super moisturizing but when it comes to the product itself, its just average. If only it were a little more pigmented, then I would totally buy it. My lips are pretty pigmented so this color might show up more on your lips than what it did on mine. If you are into more opaque and long lasting lip glosses, this one is not for you. I only use this as a ''lip balm'' and it works great for that :)

Essie Mint Candy Apple: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Cupcakes, how are you all doing tonight? :)
Yesterday I went to the hairdresser to get my hair cut and I'm really happy with how the final look turned out. Before I got it cut, my hair used to be really long and it just became a pain in the butt to take care off. So I decided to cut it shorter. Its still long but its way shorter than what it used to be. My hair feels so much lighter now, it feels like I cut off at least 1 kilo off hair, haha. Anyway, enough rambling for now, back to the review :)

Tonight's review is going to be all about Essie's Mint Candy Apple. This nail polish is one off Essie's bestsellers and also one off the most talked-about nail polishes that they have released. Mint Candy Apple is a big favorite off mine. I'm such a sucker for mint green nail polishes, I just cant get enough off them. I do have quite a few mint green nail polishes in my collection but this one is really special to me. Mint Candy Apple was the very first Essie nail polish that I bought and its the one that started my love and obsession for Essie.

Mint Candy Apple is a beautiful and soft pastel mint green color. This gorgeous color was released as a part of their Winter 2009 Sweet Time Of Year Collection. I picked up this baby right after it was released and I don't regret it for a second. When I saw it online, it was love at first sight and I just knew it in my heart that it had to be mine. Don't you just love it when products ''speak'' to you like that? Haha, being a beauty blogger can definitely be a little dangerous sometimes, don't you agree? :)

The formula is thin but not runny so it's very easy to apply. The first coat is a bit streaky but it gets much better on the second coat and perfect on the third. This is definitely a nail polish that needs three coats but you can get away with wearing just two coats if you prefer that but it wont be completely opaque. I always use three coat when I'm painting my nails because I want it to be as opaque as possible. Mint Candy Apple is one off my top 10 nail polishes from Essie and its the perfect mint green nail polish for Spring and Summer :)

Mint Candy Apple is definitely a ''must have'' in my opinion. If you haven't tried any nail polishes from Essie and you love mint green, definitely give this one a go. Its one off those colors that you can wear all year around without getting sick off it, at least its like that for me :)

Where to buy?
I believe that Mint Candy Apple have been added to Essie's permanent line. Definitely check that out and if you can't find it there, you can always find it on Ebay. Here is a link to a seller on Ebay :)

Which Essie nail polish is your favorite? What do you think about Mint Candy Apple? Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo Christine♥
